Vegetable gardening workshop

The Contra Costa Master Gardeners Organization and the Walnut Creek Library will host a seasonal vegetable gardening workshop.

This presentation, given by Janet Miller, will provide you the information to create a garden full of seasonal vegetables. You will learn soil preparation, how to start with seeds and transplants and how to use cover crops. You will also learn about fertilizing, irrigating, mulching crops, planting times and selecting appropriate crops.
