In boys basketball, Las Lomas advanced with an upset victory of Lodi High Wednesday night.
The Knights (20-10) hung onto a lead by making 10 of 14 free throws in the fourth quarter, holding off a Lodi team (23-8) with many fourth-quarter comebacks on its resume, according to the Stockton Record. The Knights had a balanced attack with four starters in double figures.
According to the Record, Lodi coach Dave Nutting said Las Lomas plays "in the toughest league in the North Coast section, and it showed out there tonight."
