Second Saturday Walks with the Mayor

Mayor Bob Simmons leads the public in a walk the second Saturday of the month throughout his mayoral term.

For the Jan. 14 walk, the group will meet at 10 am. in front of the Walnut Creek BART station on the steps at the corner of California and Ygnacio Valley Road.

The group will walk from the Walnut Creek BART station to Civic Park and then take the Iron Horse Trail to the Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Center BART station. From there, walkers can ride BART back to their cars or loop back to Walnut Creek BART on foot.
