Locust St & Cole Ave Walnut Creek CA 94596  See map

NEW OPERATING HOURS 9:00 am until 2:00 pm

Effective May 6, 2012

Come join us every Sunday at the Walnut Creek Farmer's Market. Located on Locust Street behind Growers Square. Plenty of free parking at the Growers Square parking garage located on Cole Street (enter from N. California Blvd.).

Here you will find the best of what California farmers have to offer, year-round and in season. Along with the best produce you can also find artisan cheese, fresh baked breads and pastries, fresh fish and grass fed beef. There is entertainment for the little ones, facepainting and balloons and live music in two locations. We have a wide selection ready-to-eat foods: Afghan Bolani, Falafel, old-fashioned slow smoked barbecue and authentic Mexican food, to name just a few.

Come on down on Sunday mornings and connect with the community. You'll want to make it a healthy habit.

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
