It's almost time to "Get Your Skate On!". Walnut Creek on Ice will open on Monday, November 12.

The Rink is bigger and better than ever, with 8,000 square feet of ice, 6,000 of which are under a tent. You will have that open air feeling but you have a cover for the rain. There will also be food from McCovey's, added seating areas, new lighting, a projector and other added benefits.

Visit the Walnut Creek on Ice Facebook page for special announcements.

Walnut Creek on Ice 2011-2012 was our best season ever; The Rink is new, improved, and covered to keep you dry should it rain. The Rink is also bigger than ever with a new configuration, a food vendor, and sitting area under individual covered side tents. You will have more space to skate and enjoy the wonderful holiday season under a lighted, decorated tent.

Walnut Creek on Ice is brought to you by the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and the Downtown Business Association. The community has embraced this holiday tradition but it would not be possible without its sponsors. For sponsorship information, click here.

Convenient parking is located near Civic Park as well as a drop-off/pick-up zone located on Civic Drive in front of the ice rink. In addition to street and public garage parking, a free shuttle service is offered seven days a week for rides around downtown Walnut Creek to and from the Walnut Creek BART station. Stop by for an enjoyable outing for family, friends and community members while skating under the stars. The rink is available for birthday parties, lessons, private parties and fundraisers.
