High School Football: Las Lomas, Northgate Both Play High Stakes Games On Friday

The Knights battle Campolindo for first place while the Broncos try to keep their unbeaten record against Concord High

Both Las Lomas High and Northgate High football teams play games with league title importance on Friday night.

Las Lomas High will do battle against Campolindo High School with first place in the Diablo Foothill Athletic League at stake.

The game begins at 7 p.m. on the Las Lomas field in Walnut Creek.

Campolindo is 6-0 overall this season and 2-0 in league play, having already defeated Acalanes High and Miramonte High.

Las Lomas is 5-2 overall but 3-0 in league play. They've already beaten Acalanes High.

Northgate High will take on Concord High in Diablo Valley Athletic League action.

The game begins at 7 p.m. on the Minutemen's field in Concord.

The Broncos are 6-0 overall and 1-0 in league play.

Concord High is 5-1 overall and 1-0 in league.

Berean Christian High will play Pinole Valley High on Friday night.

The game begins at 7 p.m. on the Spartans' field in Pinole.

Berean Christian is 2-5 overall and 0-3 in league play.

Pinole Valley is 1-5 overall and 1-1 in league.
