High School Football: Northgate At Home Friday Night While Las Lomas Hits The Road

Berean Christian Takes On Highly Ranked El Cerrito on Saturday

Northgate High's football team resumes play at home Friday night while Las Lomas High travels to the Tri-Valley.

Northgate takes on Mt. Diablo High beginning at 7 p.m. at the Broncos' stadium.

Northgate is 5-0 so far this season. This will be their first league game. They had last week off after trouncing Antioch High, 45-8, the week before.

Mt. Diablo is 2-3 this season after losing 48-40 to Mt. Eden two weeks ago. This is the Red Devils' league opener, too.

Las Lomas will travel to Dublin High to do battle with the Gaels, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Knights are 4-2 on the season and 2-0 in league play after edging Acalanes High, 33-26, last week.

Dublin is 2-4 this season and 0-2 in league after losing 34-27 last week to Dougherty Valley High.

On Saturday, Berean Christian High is at home, doing battle with highly ranked El Cerrito High in a game that begins at 1:30 p.m.

The Eagles are 2-4 this season and 0-2 in league play after losing 63-13 to St. Mary's High last week.

El Cerrito is 4-2 this season and 2-0 in league after smashing Salesian High, 40-14, last week.
