High School Football: Northgate Goes For League Title Against Clayton Valley Charter

Las Lomas finishes its regular season against Dougherty Valley High

Northgate High's football team will battle Clayton Valley Charter High for the Diablo Valley Athletic League title on Friday night.

The final regular season game begins at 7 p.m. on the Broncos' home field in Walnut Creek.

Northgate is 8-1 overall and 3-1 in league play. Clayton Valley is 8-1 overall and 4-0 in league play.

If the Broncos win, both teams would be 4-1 in league, but Northgate would get the title because it won the head-to-head match-up.

Patch will be at the Friday night game and will provide updates during the contest.

Meanwhile, Las Lomas High will finish its regular season at home at 7 p.m. against Dougherty Valley High.
