High School Football: Northgate High Back On The Winning Track

The Broncos shut out Ygnacio Valley High while Las Lomas prepares for a big game next week

Northgate High School has returned to the victory column in a big way.

The Broncos stomped Ygnacio Valley High, 44-0, in Friday night football action.

Northgate is now 7-1 overall and 2-1 in league play. They lost their first game of the season last week to Concord High, 30-28.

Ygnacio Valley is now 1-7 overall and 0-3 in league action.

Las Lomas High has the week off. They will play Miramonte High on Nov. 1.

The Knights are 5-3 overall and 3-1 in league.

Berean Christian High plays at home on Saturday afternoon against Valley Christian High of Dublin.

The Eagles are 2-6 overall and 0-4 in league. Valley Christian is 4-3 overall and 2-1 in league.

The game begins at 2:30 p.m.
