High School Football Playoffs: Northgate, Las Lomas Face Tough Opponents This Weekend
Both the Broncos and the Knights face higher seeds in second round action in the North Coast Section playoffs
Northgate High and Las Lomas High are both on the road to face tough opponents this weekend in the North Coast Section Division II football playoffs.
Las Lomas, the tournament's seventh seed, travels to Concord to battle second ranked Clayton Valley Charter High, beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday.
The Knights are 7-4 while Clayton Valley Charter is 10-1, its only loss coming against De La Salle High in the first game of the season.
Northgate, the tournament's sixth seed, travels to Orinda to tackle third ranked Miramonte High, beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The Broncos and Matadors are both 9-2 this season.
