Northgate loses to undefeated Antioch while Berean Christian is beaten in Monterey

Antioch 26 Northgate 14
Northgate High lost its third straight game as Antioch High came from behind to defeat the Broncos, 26-14.

Northgate led 14-6 at half, but Antioch scored 20 unanswered second half points to avoid the upset.
The Broncos are now 1-4 overall. They play their first league game next week.

The Panthers are 5-0 overall and also open their league season next week.
Monterey 28 Berean Christian 6
Berean Christian High had its two-game win streak snapped as it fell to Monterey High, 28-6.
The Eagles are now 3-2 overall, all non-league games.
The Toreadores are also 3-2 overall.
De La Salle 39 Foothill 3
De La Salle High cruised to victory over Foothill High, 39-3.
The Spartans are now 4-1 overall and 2-0 in league play.
Foothill is 1-4 overall and 0-2 in league play.
Clayton Valley High School had a bye week this week. The Eagles will play College Park next Friday.
