Las Lomas defeats Acalanes while Clayton Valley picks up win over Ygnacio Valley

Here are the scores of the local high school football games played Thursday evening.

Las Lomas 35  Acalanes 13

Las Lomas High finished the regular season strong by defeating Acalanes High, 35-13.

The Knights lead 7-0 in the first quarter.

Las Lomas lengthened that lead to 21-13 in the third quarter before putting the game away in the final period.

The Knight finish the regular season with an 8-2 overall record and a 4-2 league mark.

Acalanes ends the year with a 4-6 overall record and a 2-4 record in league play.

Las Lomas has already qualified for the playoffs in Division II.

Concord 28  Northgate 12

Concord High ended Northgate High's season by defeating the Broncos, 28-12.

Northgate took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter, but Concord came back to take a 14-12 halftime lead.

The Minutemen shut out the Broncos in the second half to seal the victory.

Northgate was trying to sneak into the Division II playoffs, but the loss mostly likely ended those hopes.

The Broncos finish with a 3-7 overall record and a 2-3 league mark.

Concord finishes 7-3 overall and 4-1 in league play.

Clayton Valley 30  Ygnacio Valley 0

Clayton Valley High ended its regular season on a winning note by thumping Ygnacio Valley High, 30-0.

The Eagles jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

The win was Clayton Valley's second in a row. They finish the regular season with a 6-4 overall record and a 2-3 record in league play.

Ygnacio Valley finishes 2-8 overall and 2-3 in league play.

Clayton Valley had already qualified for the playoffs in Division II.

On Saturday, Berean Christian High will play Salesian High.

The Eagles are 7-2 overall and 3-0 in league play. Salesian, a Catholic school in Richmond, is 9-0 overall and 4-0 in league play.

Berean Christian has already qualified for the playoffs in Division IV.
