High School Football Recap

Here is a recap of the scores of the local high school football games on Friday night.

Miramonte 33  Las Lomas 28

In a battle of undefeated teams, Miramonte High edged Las Lomas High, 33-28.

The Knights fell to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in league play. They do battle next Friday at home against Dublin High.

The Matadors improved to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in league play. They take on rival Campolindo High next Friday.

College Park 20  Clayton Valley 10

Clayton Valley High was upset by College Park High, 20-10, in the league opener for both teams.

The Falcons built a 14-10 lead in the third quarter before shutting down the Eagles and securing the victory.

Clayton Valley fell to 4-2 overall and 0-1 in league play.

College Park is now 2-4 overall and 1-0 in league play.   

Northgate 31  Mt. Diablo 21

Northgate High came from behind to defeat visiting Mt. Diablo High, 31-21, in this league opener.

The Red Devils led 21-17 at half, but the Broncos shut them out in the second half to seal the victory.

Northgate is now 2-4 overall and 1-0 in league play.

Mt. Diablo is 1-5 overall and 0-1 in league play. 

Berean Christian High plays Saturday afternoon in Oakland against St. Elizabeth High School.
