Las Lomas's Bryan Snyder Commited to UCSB

The star Water Polo player from Las Lomas has chosen UC Santa Barbara as his college!

Las Lomas High School water polo player Bryan Snyder, who led the the Knights to their first ever NCS title last fall, has said that he's accepted an offer to play water polo at the University of California Santa Barbara next fall. 

For Snyder, it was the school's atmosphere and the coaching that won him over. 

"I really liked the laid-back atmosphere and the coach is good. It's really a great place for me to live," said Snyder.

Snyder took a trip down to Santa Barbara in the middle of January to meet the coaches, and get a sense of the program at Santa Barbara.

It came down to Long Beach State and UC Santa Barbara. Snyder decided to become a Gaucho at Santa Barbara

In the NCS title meet last fall, Las Lomas beat Alhambra  to win the NCS Division II Water Polo Championship, a game in which Snyder scored six goals in a 13-8 defeat of Alhambra. 

Snyder capped off his high school career with an incredible 412 goals in his four years on varsity. In addition to that, Snyder scored 121 goals in the past season alone, leading the team.
