Walnut Creeker Heads for Super Bowl, His Sixth

Forty-Niners CEO Jed York was touched by Terry White's story in SFGate.com.

Terry White of Walnut Creek is going to his sixth Forty Niners Super Bowl — this time it's courtesy of the San Francisco football club's CEO Jed York.

York read about White in an SFGate piece about fans who had been to all five Niner Super Bowl appearances (all wins). White didn't think he could make it to this year's game in New Orleans Sunday until he received an email offer from York, which White initially thought was a hoax, NBC Bay Area reported. (Hoaxes happen in football sometimes — ask Manti T'eo.)

A 45-year 49er season ticket holder, White even has an autographed napkin from the Niners coaching legend, the late Bill Walsh.

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
