The Contra Costa Jewish Day School is a private school in Lafayette, California. Coed and Jewish-affiliated, it serves 160 students in grades K-8. Founded in 2001, CCJDS provides a full-day elementary and middle school general and Judaic studies curriculum. The school is in a new building located on the campus of Temple Isaiah on the town's north side across from the Lafayette Reservoir. The school features large classrooms, a low student-to-teacher ratio, and an art studio and science lab. The core curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, music, drama, art, community service, Hebrew & Spanish languages and Judaic studies. The school uses the athletic fields of nearby Bentley School in Lafayette for its physical education programs.
