Located on Walnut Boulevard in Walnut Creek, Howe Homestead Park is a six-and-a-half-acre public park featuring community gardens, plenty of open space and hiking trails. The park is named for Associated Press correspondent James P. Howe, who lived on the premises until his death in 1970.
