Janice has written newspaper stories, magazine articles, website content, columns, billboard ads, and more for a variety of publications for over 20 years. Her national credits include the likes of Woman's Day, Family Circle, Parenting, Parents, Family Life, Writer's Digest, and USA Today. She has also written for local publications such as East Bay Business Times, Diablo Magazine, Today's Home, Bay Area Parent, Parent's Press, and the Contra Costa Times.

Born and raised in the East Bay and a Martinez resident since 1989, she has lived in San Francisco, Alameda, Castro Valley, Hayward, Livermore, San Leandro, Chico, and Mercer Island, a city connected to Seattle by a floating bridge. She attended Chabot Junior College, Hayward State, Chico State and crossed the finish line at the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. She dabbles in poetry, wrote a god-awful book of fiction that fortunately didn't get published, and created a website called goodgreenhabits.com to help people keep the planet healthy. She has continually emerging goals that she'll share over coffee if you ask, and is now pleased to include videographer, photographer and writer for Patch on her resume.
