What drives you to practice medicine?

In my senior year at Harvard I had the opportunity to watch a kidney transplant. I realized then that I wanted to pursue medicine. It was exciting and that opportunity to really connect with a patient -- to be part of that process -- spoke to me. To have a positive impact on my patients' lives every day, that is what drives me to practice medicine. Caring for others is truly a privilege and an honor.

Children are so resilient! I get such joy meeting new patients and being a part of their lives. I love establishing healthy and happy relationships with them and their caregivers. I am so fortunate that I truly love what I do.
