Diablo Women's Chorale Performs "The Birds and the Bees"

Join us for a flight of fancy as we celebrate spring in proper DWC fashion:

“The Birds and the Bees: Love of Nature and the Nature of Love”

will send your heart soaring and your toes a tappin' as we entertain you with a short and sweet concert of Beatles, Broadway, folk and contemporary songs directed by Mary Sorenson and  accompanied by Stephen Evans.  Our own Lura Osgood's 90th birthday will be celebrated with a performance of Reflections on the Seasons, composed by Rollo Dilworth as a setting for Lura's haiku poetry.  Come Fly with Me, popularized by Sinatra, and other jazz standards will be accompanied by The Killer Bees, our jazz combo.  Soloists, sing alongs, and light refreshments are also planned to satisfy the whole family.
