Farmers' Market Van Stolen in Walnut Creek

The Diablo Valley Farmers' Market White Nissan NV 2500 2013 van License 2MKT was stolen early this morning. Along with the VAN, they took the equipment used to run the market including the signs, pop-ups, banners, cones, traffic signs, but the worse is the children's tables for the craft corner.

Several years ago, the minature folding portable tables were  donated by Kaiser for the market's children's nutrition education corner.

The thieves stole the van from the Farmers Market office in Walnut Creek at Citrus Circle then  dumped the equipment from the inside of the Van near themarket site . The theives left some awnings and two folding tables, but took off with the chairs, the banners and a  truckload of equipment it takes to run the market.  The children's craft boxes were also stolen.

When the market manager went to pick up the equipment dumped in the Shadelands parking lot near the market site, another unrelated person was in the process of taking the equipment.!!!

Our non-profit organizaton saved for 4 years to make a down payment and still owe thousands on the Van. Please help us find it. If you know any information please contact the Walnut Creek Police at 925-943-5844. Thank you.
