Author of North Korea Book Speaks in WC

Adam Johnson, who wrote 'The Orphan Master's Son,' is featured speaker at library series.

San Francisco author Adam Johnson, author of a fictionalized account of life in isolated North Korea, is due to speak at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Oak View Room at the Walnut Creek Library, 1644 N. Broadway.

It's part of the 'Live! from the Library' series. Find out how Johnson, director of Stanford University's Creative Writing Program, penetrated the veil of secrecy to bring this country and its people to light. The event is free, but attenders are asked to register to reserve a seat.
