The Week Ahead: Museum Holiday Sale, Animal Camp, Turkey Trot

Some of the meetings and events happening this week in Walnut Creek

On Monday morning, the holiday sale at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum will continue.

The sale will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the museum, 1931 First Ave.

Toys, books, jewelry and other items with a wildlife theme will be available.

On Monday afternoon, a three-day animal mini-camp for youngsters will begin.

The session for children ages 4 to 10 will be from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum, 1931 First Ave.

Children will learn the role animals play in our world.

On Thursday morning, the 21st annual Forma Gym Turkey Trot will be held.

The 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer races begin at 8 a.m. at Civic Park at Broadway and Civic Drive.

On Friday evening, the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein will be performed in a revue.

The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Lesher Center for the Arts, 1601 Civic Drive.

On Saturday afternoon, a musical release party will be held.

The winter concert series release begins at noon at Spun Studios, 2116 N. Main St., Suite E.
