Where is this birdhouse in Walnut Creek?
It's on a fairly well-traveled route with a lot of green spaces nearby, but you might not have ever noticed it while you walked by.

This big birdhouse with Mt. Diablo Audubon stamped on it rests on a large tree somewhere in Walnut Creek.

Have you seen it? Do you remember where it was?

Wood duck box set up by Eagle Scouts with MDAS called "Just for Ducks" around WC urban areas/creeks...perhaps around Civic Park(?).

Hi, Liede-Marie: This guess is correct! Good work. You can see this house for wood ducks as you cross the bridge from the Civic Park parking lot to the athletic fields. Brian Murphy of the Audubon Society tells me a Cub Scout troop help install it as part of a Community Service Day project. Last year, 64 ducklings hatched in boxes along the downtown creeks. These boxes help keep the wood duck population afloat in our town.
