Walnut Creeks downtown housing market is HOT! What a change from just a year ago!

As Walnut Creek’s downtown area flourishes, housing for sale has become drastically reduced. Condos and Townhouses have become the hot ticket item showing big increases in sales prices and selling faster. Some quick notes about what’s happening in the 94596 area code -

  • Properties are selling faster. 17 days on market average vs. 37 days just one year ago (condos/townhouses)
  • Average price increased from $184k to $203k (condos/townhouses). Median price increased from $137k to $168k (condos/townhouses)
  • Percent of original list price received increased from 94% to 102%
  • At the time of this writing there was only 1 condo for sale in 94596

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous".
