Readers Choice Races Are Tight
Walnut Creek Patch voters picks their favorite playground, salon, movie theater, place for Asian food, auto repair shop, salon and many others.
Some of the races have Usain Bolt roaring down the track. Some have no clear favorite. It's a tie for best movie theater.
We're talking about the Walnut Creek Patch Readers Choice Olympics. With nominations by Patch readers in June, we're coming down to the wire. The polls close at noon Friday.
For best playground, Civic Park and Heather Farm Park are neck and neck.
For best salon, Changes Salon & Day Spa is running ahead, but right on its tracks are Absolute Salon, Raymond Marc Salon, Phoenix Salon & Day Spa and diPietro Todd Salon.
Century Theatres Walnut Creek is tied with CineArts of Pleasant Hill.
