Sunday Singalong - The Way You Look Tonight

Let's take a few minutes and slow down, and just enjoy a gorgeous song interpreted with inspiration and musical wizardry.

The idea of Thanksgiving is so serene - sitting around a table with family, enjoying remarkable food and great company.

But the actuality is often quite stressful. After all, someone has to cook that food, and set that table. Then there's the reality that family gatherings are not always the Norman Rockwell-type events we'd like them to be.

And of course, there's that shopping thing the day after, or, this year, even the same night as the turkey was served.

This can all be very stressful, so I thought it appropriate to put up a smooth, soothing version of a Jerome Kern tune as performed by the always-amazing Tony Bennett.

I hope when you hear this song, you sing it in your mind to someone you love. And that the act of doing that will help take a little edge off of the insanity of this season, and remind you that, when it all gets broken down, what John Lennon said was really true: all you need is love.

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
