Where Do You Fill Up In Walnut Creek When Gas Prices Shoot Up?

Pump prices in the East Bay have risen 58 cents per gallon the past month. Where do you fill up?

Now that gasoline has jumped more than a half dollar a gallon, is there a station you've found in the Walnut Creek area that isn't as expensive as the others?

Let us know in the comments. Your neighbors will appreciate it.

The commute page on Walnut Creek Patch shows an array of prices around town. A cheap price can be difficult to find.

In California, gasoline prices have risen 57 cents per gallon the past month to an average of $4.22 for a gallon of regular unleaded.

In the East Bay, gas prices have increased 58 cents the past month to $4.15 for a gallon of unleaded regular. That price is up 16 cents in the past week.

Why have gasoline prices risen so sharply? Is it seasonal? Is it supply and demand? Is it manufactured? Here's one blogger's opinion. Give us your thoughts in the comments section.

Why have gasoline prices risen? That is a stupid question. ...Because CA has a boutique gasoline blend, seasonal change over for the spring/summer blend, and refinery maintenance. You do want clean air and for the refiners to maintain their equipment, right? Then shut up and pay up. Valero at N. Broadway & YVR.

I use Gas Buddy to help show me where the cheapest gas is. Usually its Costco on Monument.

I fill up at the liquor aisle on Broadway, where 80 proof Vodka costs as low as $10 / 1.5 liters. I get there by walking (healthy exercise) and taking the Free Route 4 Trolley (keeping GHGs out of the air, which cause unhealthy asthma and COPD). Vodka's a great stress reliever and sleep aid as well.

Ralph, we've noticed your drunkenness on several occasions.
