Yes, The Bunny May Be Getting Soggy This Easter

It's the second rainy Easter in a row in the Bay Area. What's up with that?

Last Easter I recall just giving up on the weather and sending the kids and cousins out into a steady drizzle to quickly hunt for eggs before they got too soaked. Us wimpy grown-ups watched from the window.

This Easter it doesn't look much better.

The Bay Area is forecast to be mostly cloudy today with isolated showers in the morning. Highs are expected to be around 60.

It is expected to be mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the lower 50s. West winds of around 15 mph, becoming southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph after midnight are also expected.

Monday is expected to be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and highs around 60.

Spring, where are you? We're waiting!

Some of my family was planning a walk and picnic on Mt. Diablo. Guess they're waiting to see if the rain lets up. Meanwhile, the photo of the red boots by my colleague Erika Conner, editor of Dublin Patch, reminds me of this poem I had to study in an English class. William Carlos Williams "The Red Wheelbarrow." So, here's your Easter Day poetry selection: so much depends upon a red wheel barrow glazed with rain water beside the white chickens.

I know this is rare for a native Californian, but I love the rain! Fully enjoyed the rainy Sunday morning, grabbed a coffee and rain into Martha (note the editor, not the infamous pant-less Martha of WC Crime Blog fame). Hope everyone has an enjoyable Sunday/Easter

Diva, I too enjoy the rain. Even though I'm a native California, too, I have a hard time with going rainless between May and usually October. And, it was fun to run into Creek Diva, and I'm wonder if she is the one who owns the pink VW Beetle I saw parked out in front to Starbucks this morning.

I did see the Peep-pink colored Beetle, but alas... was not mine. I'm hoping for a very mild summer again like we had last year.
