The Howe Harvest Festival combines a celebration of the life of James Pomeroy Howe with a variety of old fashioned harvest and halloween activities for families. This year's activities include our traditional pumpking carving, carnival games, crafts and scarecrow making with newer features like storytellers, a trio of fiddlers, 4H animals and a chance to explore the Community Garden and the Butterfly Garden. And yes, of course, we have the maze again. There's no entry fee but there are nominal fees for games and crafts and there is food for sale to support our local 4H. This special event is presented by the City of Walnut Creek Open Space Division.
