Walnut Creek Chorus - Auditions

Walnut Creek Chorus is

holding auditions on August 12, 2013 from 7-8:30 PM at Trinity Lutheran

Church, 2317 Buena Vista Avenue, in Walnut Creek. All voices are

welcome. We are in need of both TENOR and BASS voices. Additionally, we

are hosting an Open House to meet and greet members of the chorus. There

will be auditions on August 14th from 7:00-8:00 for those who are

unable to attend the August 12th audition. Rehearsals begin on August 19th at 7:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church.

New singers should have:

Some choral experience of having sung in a church, school or
community group.
The ability to do some sight-reading.
The ability to learn text in other languages.
The desire to perform a wide range of music.

What kind of time commitment does membership require?



WCC seasons run from early September to the end of June, with weekly

rehearsals and two major concerts. Singers are expected to commit to our

rehearsal and performance schedule for a minimum of one year.

Attendance at rehearsals and performances is expected.
