Award Honors Kaiser Walnut Creek
Leapfrog awards for health, safety, efficiency rates goes to WC and nine other Bay Area Kaiser facilities.
Ten Kaiser Permanente hospitals in Northern California — including Walnut Creek — have been named 2010 Leapfrog Top Hospitals.
This honor salutes hospitals for success in such areas as infection rates, mortality rates for common procedures, efficiency and safety.
"This reinforces our commitment to quality and reflects the personalized and consistent level of dedicated care we provide to our patients," said Ginger Campbell, area manager for Kaiser Permanente's Diablo Area, according to a Kaiser press release.
