Hike and Thrive with Kaiser Permanente

Save Mount Diablo will offer hike for intermediate and more advanced hikers

Join Kaiser Permanente for a special hike led by Save Mount Diablo at the Castle Rock Regional Recreation Area on Sunday, May 4th, beginning at 9am.

Castle Rock Regional Recreation Area is nestled between Walnut Creek and Mount Diablo. Breathtaking outcroppings of sandstone pinnacles give Castle Rock its name and provide habitat for an array of sensitive species including Golden Eagles and falcons.

There will be an intermediate hike and an advanced hike to accommodate different experience levels.

Please wear hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes (no open toed shoes). A light breakfast will be provided, but please bring extra snacks for the hike.  Also please bring water and wear sunscreen.
