Kids these days...

A young philantrophist recently sold a lot of lemonade to help the animals she loves.

Kids are amazing critters, it’s true.  They have boundless energy, inquisitive minds, and big hearts.  Sometimes, though, there are kids who go above-and-beyond this, providing an example to all of us, young and old.

Lindsay was recently approached by Naomi, a dynamic 5-year-old girl, who, like many youngsters, loves animals. At her preschool, each graduating student is tasked with fundraising for a charity, and Naomi selected Lindsay Wildlife Museum as her recipient because she wants to help sick and injured animals.  To raise funds, she started up a lemonade stand and also appealed for donations in her community.  Through her efforts, she raised a little over $2,500 for the museum!

So, thank you, Naomi, for not only “helping the animals,” but reminding us that big or small, short or tall, we can all make a difference.
