Robert Marshment, a Walnut Creek resident and Bay Area native, was with the Marines in WWII when they landed on Iwo Jima. Mr. Marshment died at home on May 30 after an extended illness. Mr. Marshment requested no service. Read the entire obituary in the Contra Costa Times.
