Alamo Fire Started in Shed
Thursday's fire on Castle Glen Road severely damaged two houses
It appears the Thursday fire that damaged two houses on hilly Castle Glen Road in Alamo originated in or near the shed next to one of the houses, said Lewis Broschard, a county fire marshal.
Firefighters kept the fire, a half-mile from the Walnut Creek city line, from continuing to other houses on a long driveway tucked into an elbow of Castle Glen Road as it curves up the hill.
