CHP Offers Teen Safe Driving Classes

Call to ask about upcoming two-hour classes scheduled by the Martinez CHP office.

The California Highway Patrol, Contra Costa office, has scheduled two-hour safety education classes targeted for teen drivers.

To enroll yourself and your teen in an upcoming class, please contact the CHP at (925) 646-4980 or visit the Contra Costa office in person at 5001 Blum Road, Martinez.

Teen drivers are found at fault in 66 percent of fatal collisions in California, even though they represent only 4 percent of the state's licensed drivers, according to a CHP news release.
