Break up with her (first get the credit card)! A caller phoned police about an unauthorized credit card charge on Overstock.com. The possible suspect was the caller's “on-and-off-again girlfriend” who allegedly purchased a ring from the website with the stolen credit card.

Kudos to a citizen. The citizen who found a wallet at Civic Park, thanks to your kind gesture it was returned to its rightful owner!

Nasty. A cab driver was seen “urinating in the bushes and causing problems in the taxi line” on Riverra Avenue at 9:30 a.m. The police warned the cabbie about urinating in public.

Missing a day planner? Someone turned in one that was found downtown.

End of the summer mayhem. There were various reports of eggings, TP’ing  and reckless driving this evening. Creek Diva is all about having fun, but not at the expense of others! Be careful, kids.

Saturday, August 20

Funny lettuce? A man used some bills that had a phony look, which caused him to be detained and questioned by security at a business on Arroyo Way. Police determined it was legal tender. Creek Diva hopes the man was comped a drink or two!

Knock, knock. A door-to-door solicitor was arrested on an outside misdemeanor warrant and transported to Martinez Detention Facility after a resident on Andrea Drive thought the solicitor was acting suspicious.
