Stolen Accord. A silver Honda Accord, license plate 5KHU153, was stolen from a parking spot on the 1400 block of Creekside Drive.

Dislike button, please! A Facebook dispute had two men allegedly pushing each other over on the 2000 block of North Main Street.

Lost wallet. A wallet was found on the 1400 block of Via Loma a few months back but just now was turned over to the police. Please contact the WCPD if you think it might be yours.

Friday, June 22

Screamer. To the screamer on the third floor of an apartment complex on the 1800 block of Lacassie Avenue, are you OK? A neighbor is worried and annoyed at your daily yelps.

Shady. Two dogs were left in a vehicle parked at Broadway Plaza this afternoon. The owner returned to the car when police advised the driver to park in the shade next time.

File under fashion crimes. A driver was seen driving around with a nylon mask and gloves on Treat and Bancroft Road at 6:29 p.m.

Trespass. A 76-year-old man was arrested on trespassing charges on the 1000 block of Golden Rain Road, Rossmoor, this afternoon. There has got to be a program for this man who needs help; readers, do you know of any?

Saturday, June 23

Fireworks. Early firework show at Lakewood…. Some unknown subjects were allegedly setting off fireworks at 1:23 a.m. A little late, don’t you think?

Public intoxication. Three public intoxication charges and three driving while under the influences arrest occurred, all before 2:04 a.m. As the weather heats up, and holiday parties and drinks flow, please remember to get home safely.

$4,000 check fraud. Strangers don’t ask strangers to CASH CHECKS! A man was scammed out of a large amount of money after a stranger asked him to deposit a check and give him cash on June 20. The victim was approached by a man on Mt. Diablo Boulevard and bilked out of $4,000 when the check bounced a few days later.

Stop. Do not pass go. You, my friend, perhaps deserved this charge. A man drew WCPD on a foot pursuit on the 1500 block of Locust Street at 12:13 a.m. The man was arrested on public urination charges after he failed to sign the citation.

Three easy steps … for a miserable, joy ride summer vacation:

  1. Take a car out that isn’t yours.
  2. Crash that car into a tree.
  3. Have your grandfather show up to the crash scene because you don’t have a license.

That’s what one juvenile did on the 200 block of Oak Knoll Loop this afternoon.
