Walnut Creek police reports from May 18 to May 21

Friday, May 18

Cars rifled. A few cars were broken into on Village Court overnight. Please remember to lock up and take your valuables with you, including items in the trunk!

Missing documents. A traveler reported that his wallet, passport, and plane ticket back to El Salvador went missing sometime in the past 24 hours. Hope you find the items.

Hot Honda. A 2002 green Honda Civic, license plate 6AUE614, was reported stolen from the 1900 block of Barkley Avenue at 7:30 a.m.

Parolee. Police stopped a man on foot on the 400 block of Wiget Lane this afternoon. He was taken into custody on a parolee at large warrant and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Drunken dip meet drunk tank! A man was arrested on public intoxication charges after he allegedly was swimming drunk on the 200 block of Tampico at 8:15 p.m.

Saturday, May 19

Campsite. Two men were told to take down their camping site by the 1700 block of Botelho Drive at 8:38a.m.

Scrappy mothers. Two mothers of basketball players at Foothill Middle School allegedly engaged in a mutual assault at 2:35 p.m. Both parties went on their separate way.

Purse stolen. Claycord.com posted photos of a woman who allegedly stole a purse and wallet at Skipolini’s around 2 p.m. If you recognize this woman, please contact the WCPD.

Reckless. There's one less jackass on the road; thanks WCPD! A woman was arrested for reckless driving on North Broadway and Ygnacio Valley Road at 6:56 p.m.

Sunday, May 20

Busted. Some kids were cited for violating curfew after allegedly egging a Yellow Cab on Ygnacio Court at 12:41 a.m.

Creepy. A caller reported that a man was trying to remove her unconscious friend's shorts in a car on the 800 block of North California Boulevard at 1:54 a.m. The suspect was gone upon police arrival.

Monday, May 21

Sliced wires. The No. 2 ballfield at Heather Farm was vandalized overnight. An unknown subject opened an underground electrical box and sliced wires.

No pot. A caller stated that several kids were smoking pot at the skate park at Heather Farm Park at 7:24 p.m. Police determined that none of the kids in question had illegal substances on them.
