Wake up call.

What’s with the reckless drivers lately? The WCPD responds to several calls a day about this. Creek Diva has noticed a driver of a blue convertible Saab in her neighborhood that nearly hit several cars a few weeks ago. She saw her again yesterday, and this time she wrote down her license plate. Readers, how do you deal with reckless drivers?

Thursday, May 10

Lost and confused. Thank you to the concerned neighbor on Las Juntas Way who called police about an elderly neighbor who was lost and confused. His caretaker and wife were able to pick up the man. Creek Diva has a special request — if you have an elderly neighbor who lives alone, please check up on her or him.

Stolen cash. $3,500 cash was stolen from a home on the 4300 block of Terra Granada Drive a week ago. The resident suspects a house cleaner. An investigation is underway.

Motorcycle in the bushes. A motorcycle was recovered in some bushes on Lawrence Way after a police pursuit from Lafayette at 10:04 p.m.
