Creek Diva: iStolen and Green Graffiti

Walnut Creek police reports from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2.

Tuesday, November 29

Lost ring. A man lost a ring possibly in the parking lot of the 2400 block of Shadelands Drive or in a nearby building last summer. Has anyone seen it?

iStolen. A Las Lomas student’s iPhone 4S was stolen from his backpack in the boys locker room at 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday, November 30

Street graffiti. Various green-inked graffiti was reported on North California Boulevard, Trinity Avenue and the 1300 block of North Civic Drive this morning.

Stolen bike. A locked specialized hybrid bicycle was stolen from a garage on the 1800 block of Bonanza Street over holiday weekend. No leads at this time.

Man rescued. A man was accidentally locked inside an office building on the 1800 block of San Miguel Drive at 8:40 p.m.

Thursday, December 1

Tires slashed. Two cars were vandalized on the 1100 block of Roxie Lane. Both vehicles keyed and the tires slashed.

Homeless dog. A German shepherd with no tags was picked up on Creekside Drive at 9:32 a.m. The lost dog was turned over to Animal Control.

Irons and woods. A set of golf clubs was stolen from a trunk of an unlocked car inside a garage on the 2100 block of Quiet Place Drive this afternoon.

Stolen city van. A city of Walnut Creek white 2008 Ford E350 15-seat passenger van, license plate 128804, was reported stolen sometime between Nov. 19 and Nov. 29 on the 1300 block of North Civic Drive.

Friday, December 2

Domestic violence. Creek Diva has noticed a rise in domestic violence related calls. If you or someone you love is a victim, please call (888) 215-5555 or email crisisline@standoffov.org

Found ring. Good job, kind citizen who found a ring on the Iron Horse Trail on Nov. 17. The police booked it into found property.

Garage burglary. Another unlocked car inside a garage was burglarized, this time on Teak Court. Several watches, Garmin GPS and a Blackberry cell phone were reported stolen.
