Chase. Creek Diva had witnessed firsthand a sheriff's office and WCPD chase on her street this afternoon.

Wake up. A Metro PCS phone with a distinct marijuana leaf cover was stolen from a loading dock on the 1300 block of South California Boulevard at 2:33 p.m. while the owner was taking a nap.

Series of auto burglaries. Heads up, Pomar Way residents, several auto burglaries were reported in your neighborhood recently.

Two bikes stolen from garage. An unlocked garage on the 2600 block of Walnut Boulevard was broken into. A Gary Fischer blue/red bike and Fiji 3.0 dark blue mountain bike were reported stolen. Reader, how do you protect your bikes?

Ring is safe. Kudos to the citizen who found a sparkly ring downtown; the police have it for safekeeping.
