Creek Diva: Violent Rap, Violent Vandalism And Strong-Arm Robbery

Walnut Creek police reports from Jan. 13 to Jan. 15.

Friday, January 13

Out-of-bounds rap. A concerned educator at Northgate High phoned police after discovering a student wrote a rap that included a violent verse about wanting to shoot several students if “they kept talking.”

Lock that desk! A man reported that his wallet was stolen from a desk on the 1200 block of South Main Street at 1:00 p.m. The unknown subject went to a local bank and withdrew $500.

Disturbing. A caller reported that his child, a student at Northgate had his or her vehicle vandalized with a swastika keyed into the hood of the car. Also, gum was stuck under one of the door handles.

Strong-arm robbery. Two female juveniles jumped a 14-year-old female at a park near Los Cerros Avenue at 4:30 p.m. The victim’s iPhone was stolen. A report is to be sent to the DA’s office.


Saturday, January 14

Busy evening for the WCPD. Three people were arrested on charges of driving under the influence all before 3 a.m. Two others were arrested on charges of public intoxication.

Stolen Honda. A white Honda Accord with a veterans license plate, number HYE810, was reported stolen on the 1500 block of Sunnyvale Avenue.

Solicitor. An unpermitted solicitor in the Rudgear and Livorna neighborhoods was irking various residents. The solicitor was cited several times.

Brandishing a weapon. A man was arrested for having a knife and making threats at the front door of a residence on the 1200 block of Montego at 5:41 p.m.

Sunday, January 15

Midnight snack? A man was yelling that he wanted mushrooms outside of a home on the 1600 block of Third Avenue. A thoughtful friend took him home.

Safe stolen from car. An auto burglary occurred on the 1600 block of North California Boulevard. A safe with jewelry, passport and cash valued at $9,000 was reported stolen.
