'Go Beat Up My Boss, Wouldja, Sweetie?'

Workplace drama shows up on the Pleasant Hill police blotter.

At Walnut Creek Patch, we have the Creek Diva — simply the finest at police beat coverage.

But occasionally we must tip our hat to neighboring Patches for their poetic police items. In this instance, we salute Jim Caroompas over :

"10:03am – A woman who quit her job after being disciplined by her boss reportedly called her husband and told him to come down and beat up the boss."

How did that turn out? Also, it would be nice to know the relative weight classes of the husband and the boss.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
