Police: Lewd Act Arrest near City Restroom

WCPD reports that Crockett man, 35, was loitering near bathroom in Heather Farm Park Tuesday afternoon.

Officers arrested a 35-year-old Crockett man Tuesday afternoon for loitering with lewd intentions near a public restroom at, according to a Walnut Creek police alert.

The charge against Ryan Meulpolder was loitering about a public restroom for the purpose of engaging in a lewd act.

"Over the past several weeks the Walnut Creek Police Department has received complaints from the public about lewd activity occurring in and around public restrooms at Heather Farms Park," the WCPD alert stated. "The restrooms in question are on the southern end of the park across the street from a playground and next to baseball and soccer fields. Citizens have also reported unwanted solicitations for sexual activity while using the restrooms."

Several other subjects were contacted during the operation around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

My teenage son (17) was solicited for an act which I will not repeat here in those bathrooms 2 months ago. We told an officer we saw eating lunch near the equestrian center but they never found the guy. Glad to see some arrests. Great work!

What we need is a restroom set aside specifically for those who want to commit lewd acts. That way everyone will know which restroom to use depending on their intentions.

The caretaker was none to innocent. The bottom of the dance hall was only 20$ or a bag. Didn't look far enuff.
