Police Seeking Palos Verde Mall Bank Robber

Chase Bank was robbed Wednesday afternoon.

Walnut Creek police are looking for the man who robbed the Chase Bank in Palos Verde Mall Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect, who police described as a black man in his 30s with a goatee and a moustache, handed a note to the teller demanding money. No weapons were seen and he fled the bank in an unknown direction.

Police say the robber was wearing a tan striped dress shirt, khaki pants and glasses. Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or seen the suspect in the area is asked to please call Detective Bill Jeha at the Walnut Creek Police Department at (925) 943-5844.

Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous".
