Four units were uninhabitable after a quick fire Thursday afternoon at the Keys condo complex at the corner of North Civic Drive and Pine Street.

The fire was reported at 4:57 p.m. Thursday. Firefighters put it out in 10 minutes, Kirby said. He said he was unsure of the cause, but it might have been smoking materials left on a fifth-floor balcony.

No one was injured. Firefighters rescued a cat and a dog. Firefighters had to drag a 5-inch hose 300 feet, Kirby said.
