Tami Erin Says She Was Upset About Secret Filming

Assault charge in Walnut Creek stems from a violation of her 'private environment,' actress tweets.

Secret filming was the reason for a Walnut Creek assault on her roommate by the actress-model who played Pippi Longstocking in a 1988 movie, Tami Erin has tweeted.

On the TamiErinReal Twitter feed, Erin, age 38, said, "I caught this person filming me without my knowledge in my private environment and I was defending myself. He's 6' and I'm a 5'5" small girl." She said she was in the Bay Area to support her father, who had suffered a stroke, and that she is "overwhelmed with the support from family, friends and fans" and thanked them.

Erin told TMZ.com she caught the man "filming me without my knowledge in my private environment and I was defending myself." An Erin representative told TMZ she was not naked at the time of the alleged filming.
