Walnut Creek PD Awards Ceremony Is May 8 at Lesher Center

Four citizens will be praised for their efforts. Ceremony is free and open to the public.

Walnut Creek Police Department's annual Awards Ceremony is set for Thursday, May 8 at 3 p.m. at the Lesher Center for the Arts.
  
WCPD will be honoring all newly hired or promoted employees and announcing our Volunteer and Cadet of the Year.

In addition, Officers will be awarded the WCPD Life Saving Medal, WCPD Meritorious Service Medal and the WCPD Distinguished Service Medal. 

Also recognized will be four citizens for their efforts and contributions to the law enforcement profession and/or who performed a meritorious act to assist our officers and save the lives of citizens. 

The ceremony is open to the public and is a way for WCPD to recognize not only our own hard-working employees and volunteers, but those citizens who help make Walnut Creek such a great community. 

Admission is free, and everyone in the community is welcome to attend.
